Still experimenting with ideas from all your suggestions along with my general process to find something that grabs my attention. I've reworked the proportions of the jacked variant to be more 'beasty' which I'm liking the feel of a lot more, the little knight could be a cool direction as well but it needs more fleshing out.

I've been playing around with a bunch of body variants for the Rabbitfolk before moving onto clothing/accessories etc. I'll have another look over them all with fresh eyes and make some final proportion tweaks but it's pretty close, a bit more height variance will help separate them as well.
If you have any suggestions for class types or posing I'd love to hear it!

A full clan of Oni have joined the collection. I tried to make a variety of pose options including something along the lines of the official artwork, there should be plenty to terrorise your tables!

The little guys have now joined the collection with a few general use poses. They are about 2.5ft tall instead of the officially stated 2ft to help with printing but they are still quite small and will need some extra attention when removing supports.

Quick update with the current Oni progress!
I've got all the proportions and bulk to a place I'm happy with along with a face design I'm digging as well. I started playing with accessory options and the beginnings of layering the clothing/armour, along with making some real knots for that epic rope belt look!
Imps have been prepped and are on their way for supports and testing also 👍

In true cat fashion these designs were ready on their own time. I don't know what it was about these that gave my mojo a beat down but we pushed on through and came out the other side with 6 new minis. Thanks for the patience and sticking it out with me!

You cheeky bastards lol with an absolute tie between Imps and Oni I guess we're doing both! Oni have been on my personal list for quite a while and should make for a cool design.

I'm not sure why but these designs have been fighting me a lot. I couldn't get anything I was happy with the look of, so I jumped around a lot between all the different ideas to try and inspire something (the little wizard was the latest test).
I'm thinking I'll start posing to give them a bit more life and direction to solidify the designs. I've got things to the point where I don't hate looking at it but I could use some fresh eyes so let me know what you think!

Running off of all the cool ideas, I've re-worked some older sculpts and sketched up a few more as a general direction for where each design can go.
We have to take the opportunity to use different species and sizes to get the most out of it (and leave room for additional stuff down the line) so of course in standard YKS design we will have a proper bulky big cat and have fun with the others. Tabaxi took this one with a landslide and there a heap of ways we can go with it so I'd love to hear your ideas!
I've got a lot of bits from previous sculpts I can use to get moving quickly on some different body types and heads etc so I'll start there and then we can figure out classes to flesh out the designs.
Finally!
I know these took longer than expected but with such a rich history of lore and all the great suggestions I had to take the time to cover as much as possible which meant even more designs. On top of that, most went through at least 2 attempts at posing to really capture the attitude I was after which kills a lot of time but the end result is far better.
So thanks for the patience on this batch, I hope it was worthwhile!

Quick one to share what I've been working on!
Base sculpts/proportions are essentially done for the male + female options, they might get some tweaks as I fill out the accessories but I'm happy with how they are looking so far.
Armour is hard! Most of my time has been spent tinkering away with the design which always seems to be a time sink for me but it's mostly done and shouldn't be too much of an effort to carry it down the legs.

This absolute madness of a design has made it's way into the collection, big props to Lance for tackling the hardest support job he's had to date!
I've homebrewed a stat sheet based of a Nightwalker (as this isn't a D&D creature) with some stuff I thought was fitting from a few other creatures and swarms, hopefully it makes for a good encounter!
I split off a few crows as well and those will be added once ready but understandably feathers aren't a favourite option to work with...

Feels like these have been a long time coming and there is no other way to approach it then having both male and female options. Apart from that it's really just a lot of intricate armour design and finding a nice balance between looking the part while still being paintable.
The overall feel I get is highly skilled, stealthy assassin but are there any particular class types/traits that would be more useful to lean into?

It's hard to show this one with only images, there is a lot going on.
I think I'll leave it with this amount of birds, it needs to be a usable mini at the end of the day. I had more but it got really messy and it would just suck to paint and print. With all that in mind I'm trying to keep the birds as self supporting as I can and hopefully not super fragile by having them make contact with each other and the main body where possible while still trying to give it movement.

This will be interesting!
There isn't a whole lot of info about these things or artwork so it will be a bit of guessing for size etc but going off the scale of the birds and logs we have fairly large creature here.
Other updates:
- Duergar's are just getting the supports finalised and wont be far off
- Monthly bonus designs will be good to go in a few hours and dropped as soon as they are ready.

Got the proportions where I want them and I've started blocking in accessories and layering things to get a better feel for the overall design. It's starting to take shape nicely, just needs some more fleshing out and refinement before moving onto the next stage. I'm liking where it's going though!

Very convincing win for the Duergar!
I've had a read through the lore and main thing that jumps out at me as a big design aspect is the brutal/utilitarian approach Duergar take to both crafting and life.
Function is the most important trait. Tools that are also weapons, armour is for protection not for fashion etc
Other than that they are still dwarves and the usual design aspects apply, so proportions first and we'll build from there.

Alright straight back into it after the madness of the weekend!
These finish off the entire round of smaller options and filled in some gaps nicely. There was a cool suggestion in the discord for an 'abyssal rooster' variant and it strangely made sense so we've got something a little different as well.

These had a bit more thought behind them than previous bonus designs. They were originally made as an anniversary gift for Lance's wife Kendra! They were based off a character idea she had and sculpted in her likeness along with some special details just for them.
So now we have a cool fortune teller NPC!
